Tomorrow is a Newborn Baby Shoot. I can't wait to post to you! You know how every so often I'll have this major rant and rave about how much I want to purge my closet and my life to make everything ten times better? Well I had a major episode last night with this. I literally got rid of 75% of the things I own. I will soon be having a huge garage sale. I'm feeling better already about it.
I don't know about you but I'm still refining myself in a lot of ways. I think when I dyed my hair blonde, it was a major turning point in my life. I went blonde, lost 20 lbs, got all my priorities for the most part in order. I'm still working on it everyday, BUT much better then it was a year ago. I never knew sweating like your ridding the niagra falls of its h2o could be so invigorating. I'm glad I found out. And not only that but my butt has never looked so fantastic.
I just purchased my 3rd surfboard last night also. Its beautiful.
Lessons I have learned though :
1.IF you choose to be surfing in the sun, or just in the sun period for longer than 2 hours at a time, PUT SUNSCREEN ON YOUR LIPS, Better yet....put Zanka on your lips, otherwise the worst fever blisters you've ever had in your life will pop up within a week of your sun escapade. Not pretty let me tell ya.
2. IF you have a bump on your eyelid that lasts for more than 3 weeks and still has yet to hurt and cause you pain....it is NOT a stye, it is a chalazion and someday within the year or so it will go away........OR if your like me it will form a white head because of all the hot compresses you've put on and finally oooze itself out of you. Also not pretty.
3. ALWAYS LOCK YOUR VEHICLE!!!! My IPOD was stolen out of my car ( WHILE AT THE KINGDOM HALL BOOK STUDY!!!!! ) I couldn't believe it.
4. Its totally okay to be homebody. You don't have to want to leave your comfort zone in order to make life more interesting....granted it probably would be more interesting...maybe even fun, BUT not necessarily and its good to know what you like and want.
5. LOVE can wait. I'm almost 24 and still single. Those desperate feelings for a man to come and sweep you off your feet will probably always be there somewhat, but definately not as strong as they used to be. Plus you can really use your brain to make a wise decision based on logic, not on your heart and its feelings.
6. Having a cat is the best thing apart from surfing thats happened to me lately. She is my friend. She is my company when i'm feeling super lonely. She is hilarious with personality.
7. NEVER STOP SETTING GOALS FOR YOURSELF.
